Butler Hospital hosted its 2026 signature fundraising event, the Together We Thrive Gala, at the Rhode Island Convention Center in June, welcoming over 250 guests and raising more than $200,000 in support of staff wellness initiatives.

It was also an evening of meaningful recognition. Providence Mayor Brett Smiley joined us to present the Lila M. Sapinsley Community Service Award to the Providence Police Department, honoring their extraordinary commitment to our community. We were also proud to present Steven A. Rasmussen with the Charles Reppucci Butler Hospital Service Award, celebrating his dedicated service to Butler Hospital.
